Buying Property

As a buyer preparing to make an offer on a home, you need to understand the finer points of: making your offer

Making Your Offer

Get it in writing. Since oral agreements aren’t legally binding, you need to initiate a written contract with the seller, which starts with your proposal or offer. Your offer should include the price you propose to pay and all terms and conditions of the purchase. For example, if the seller verbally agrees to make certain repairs or to contribute to the completion costs, you need to include that in your written offer and in the final contract.
